Web design · New Gloucester, Maine

Hand-built websites for the businesses along the Royal River.

We design and build fast, custom websites for local shops, trades, restaurants and services in New Gloucester and the towns around it. No templates and no page builders: every site is made for one business, from $399.

Who it's for

Local businesses whose website is missing, dated or hard to use on a phone.

  • No website yet. Customers find you by word of mouth or a social page, and a search for your trade in town shows someone else.
  • A site that breaks on a phone. It looked fine years ago on a computer, but text is tiny and buttons are hard to tap.
  • Out-of-date details. Hours, prices or the menu are wrong, and changing them is a chore.
  • Hard to act on. People can't quickly call, book, order or ask for a quote.
Free, no obligation

See your new homepage before you spend a dollar.

We're a new studio, so instead of asking you to trust a portfolio, we'll show you. Send us a few details and we'll design a working homepage preview for your business.

  1. Tell us your business name, your current website if you have one, and what you need.
  2. We build a real homepage preview from your public information and anything you send.
  3. You get a private link to open on your phone and computer.
  4. If you like it, we talk about the full site. If not, that's the end of it: no cost and no pressure.

One preview per business. A finished site uses your real photos and words, which we gather together in discovery.

Example sites

Four sample sites, four different businesses.

These are concept homepages for fictional businesses, built to show how the design changes with the trade: menu first for a bakery, proof first for a landscaper, booking first for a salon, stock first for a farm stand.

  • Kettle & Crumb Bakehouse

Café and bakery. Menu first: today's bakes, prices and hours at the top, then order-ahead for pickup.

  • Stonewall & Fern Landscaping

Landscaper and stonework. Proof first: before-and-after projects, services by season and a quote request form.

  • Juniper Chair Salon

Hair salon. Booking first: services with times and prices, then a pick-a-time booking panel.

  • Three Furrows Farm Stand

Farm stand. What's in today: a stock board, seasonal hours and how to pay at the honor box.

More about the examples

How it works

Four stages, and you approve each one.

  1. Discovery

A conversation about your business, customers and goals, written up as a one-page brief with the scope and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  2. Design

A page map, then a design you can click through in a browser, not a static picture. You choose a direction and we refine it.

  3. Build

We build the full site on a private preview link with your real words, photos and prices, then walk through it with you on your phone.

  4. Launch

We test speed, accessibility and every link, connect your domain with you, and hand over a short guide to what you own.

Plain pricing

Affordable, and written down before we start.

Our prices are low because we're a small local studio with low overhead, not because we cut corners or use templates. After a free discovery call you get a fixed quote. Half is due when you approve it and half before launch.
